Founded in Memory of Nicholas Wayne Fernandes
The NWF Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization that provides scholarships, sponsorship, and advocacy to support suicide awareness and mental health.
Nicholas was a student at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, where the foundation now awards yearly scholarships to young Visual Design students.
We also provide advocacy, work with local and national mental health organizations, and support ongoing suicide awareness and prevention efforts in the greater New Bedford area.
As an organization and as individuals, we recognize the power of art to bring help and hope to people of all ages.
